Minister Asia Sapp - Tuesday, October 12th
Minister Asia Sapp was born and raised in Passaic, New Jersey in a loving single parent home. She is the oldest of eight children and a mother to two wonderful children. She has a great passion for working with children. For over 10 years Min. Asia has been a teacher to children ages newborn to 17 years old some with intellectual developmental disabilities.
As a teenager, she loved going to church and seeking God’s direction for her life, but it was not until she was introduced to The Great Harvest Church in Paterson, New Jersey, where she accepted the Lord's calling. She became a member of The Great Harvest Church in September of 2016 under the leadership of Pastor Frankie and Maggie Ocasio. Currently She is a Worship Leader at The Great Harvest, and a member of the Leadership board.
She is the treasurer of the S.I.S.T.E.R.S. Women’s Ministry founded by Rev. Maggie Ocasio.
Minister Asia stands firm on the scripture Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” With this scripture directing her, she has taken up the charge to become fully equipped to serve the Lord and His people.
In May of 2021 she received an Associates in Chaplaincy and Pastoral care and was ordained a Minister and Chaplain by Crown of Justice Chaplaincy Ministry Corporation.
In June of 2021, she completed her second year of theological studies at Grace and Worship Institute and is looking forward to increasing her knowledge this upcoming fall.
Minister Asia loves to cook and fellowship with friends and family members. She plans to open her own childcare center in the future. Her focus is to Introduce the love of Christ to families who do not know the importance of salvation and God’s Grace. God has strengthened and provided for her and her children. She is faithful and forever grateful to the Lord vowing to never handle God's Grace and Mercy as a cloak of maliciousness and hinderance to the furtherance of the Gospel of Christ.
